when I pull away and question the complete trust we have put in these men, I am the bad guy.
Just this is the same fore mee, , Elders say if some have qestions you can sure ask them , peopel in the cong send in 20 qestions, about the polyci in sexual abuse cases.
So it is some kaos now, qestions like , are mebers in the cong informd if we have a pedofile in the cong, and are family widh kids informd.
All this is not so much about abuse it is about how our jurudical system works.
Not evryone now this, and are very confused about this .
I have a feeling that our leaders dont want to expose this system and the power elders have , so the try to focus on other things, i think they dont want to answer in public on this , beaucause then they will disturd this peoepl who think all this is bad lyies.
It was intresting to read the WT studie yesterday, where it talks about we must take care fore apostates inn the cong, unbelevebel, dont we have one memeber left in the GB widh some comen sens?

Are the JW rules different worldwide ??? and WHY ???
by run dont walk ini have read alot of threads recently and it seems to me that each country of jw's has a set of different rules.
maybe most of the doctrines are the same, but there seems to be a big difference in ............... beards ........ clothing ........ tatoos ......... piercing body ......... grooming in general ......... cars ........... jobs you do ........ schooling .............. university ........... dating .......... what do you think ????????.
i read one comment (can't remeber who it was) who said that the usa jw's seem to be alot more concerned about stupid little things then most other countries.. hopefully we will get comments from all over the world on this topic, and compare some differences.. also brings up the question why ???????.

Here is berd something yopu not can have if you are elder or servant, this is very forbidden, this have always make me angry, where can we read this in the bibel, a perfeckt exampel pharisee behavior.you say Read one comment (can't remeber who it was) who said that the USA JW's seem to be alot more concerned about stupid little things then most other countries. well isnt all US peopel like this, when i was in US 1969, i dont have to go in servisce beaucause I havre not tie, it was wery hoot , so i dont want tio use it, and in Sweden it was no problem but in US a very bigg problem, say some about the hyppokrysi in US. .

Ray Franz df'd , what did the society say ??????
by run dont walk ini remember vaguely, well all hell broke loose in the late 70's regarding, ray franz being df'd, and the witch hunt at bethel.
i was just a little kid at the time, and didn't pay much attention.. i know ray's point of view, from what i've read on this board, and also ordered myself his book "crisis of conscience"(should be a good read).
i think back now, i remember the event happening, and the speaker talking about it at our circuit assembly, but i don't recall the reasons (bs) he gave.

Here in sweden this was an unoed thing, only a littel point in KM , that some have to be dfd in brooklyn, and that this was not anything to worry about, beaucause this shall happend in the last days, or something like that.
It is a bigg surprise to now read hes book and hes story, one thing i have think about, and this is that RF say that it was not independent bibelstudy in Brooklyn, but several others say it was, this is confusing, and when i ask i have no answers.

perusing the first couple of chapters, said that she thought it could be all made up.
agreed that the documents presented could be legitimate, but as far as franz's personal.

one thing to you all, when i read COC i understand that RF denied that he have bee in any form

What if the Watchtower Changed .......
by IslandWoman inif the watchtower changed it's blood doctrine to one where publishers could do what their conscience dictated without fear of reprisals from the brothers, if they also quit using the two witness rule and said all criminal accusations must be reported to the police, if they stopped shunning, if they said all df and da'd could associate with their friends and family, if they apologized to ray franz and all others who were hurt by their policies; would exjws respect their dogma and refrain from putting down their religious beliefs to their faces?.
this is an important question, more important than you know.

Very intresting points, as an ongoing former elder, and I think liberal JW, I waiting on this things,most important fore mee is the shunning polyci, who think hurt us tremendesly.
I dont now if you have some insder from Brooklyn, or if this is your one thaugts, but i sure hope some of this things happening.
I think we are a lot of peoepl who dont fitt inn now, and if the society dont want to lose us, they must do some of this changes, we are still waiting, and some suffer, but we are still inn, your points are I think most fore us, and not fore this who hate Jw, and want to destoy it.
most of us like many docktrins from JW, and see that this is the only religion who stand free from war and corupt politiks, this religion have also give us hope to live on earth forever, also that unik belife.
when I talk to many of my friends inn JW they see the problem but they go on, beaucause this religion have give them a lot of happiness, some tell me that they have no other place to goo, so we are not so few, who are waiting on this to come , thanks IW fore giving us some hope, I thnik I am one of few aktive JW who are here, and fore mee this site have been like a relife, i was not crayzy, it was not only in our cong it wAS THIS hard men ruling, tracking down at us who was more liberal, and push us out from elder psition, here I find that this was ongoing thing on many places, fore me this was a proff of that we have wolfs in our leadership, and if We have a Jehova widh power he must ackt, I say like bibel, if this religion is from men it will die, and if it is from Jehova it will stand.
